Mela Hudson is an Italian American actress born in Poughkeepsie, New York. As a child, she was a member at the Estelle and Alfonso Performing Arts Program, and at the Betty Jean Studio where she danced on stage. She got her first taste of acting at the age of 8 when she started to perform in school plays. After having performed in countless plays throughout the years, Mela graduated from John Jay High School in 2005 and was a business management student at Dutchess Community College before switching her focus back to acting. She trained and performed on stage at Dutchess Community College where she was seen in even more stage productions. In 2009 she was introduced to the New York Talent Club where she attained experience while working on film sets. She has worked as a model in New York, and also appeared in a music video for Blondie. In addition, she has acted in TV series, TV commercials, independent films as well as foreign films. To add to her talents, Hudson is an avid screenwriter and producer.
